Hey what's up everyone,
We're checking in with you guys from our headlining tour to give you another glimpse into our upcoming album, "The Emptiness." We've posted one of the many video updates from when we were recording the new album. You can watch as we work on each piece of the new story. We've also added a 30 second clip of one of the songs at the end of the video, so be sure to watch the whole thing!

Our headlining tour kicked off this weekend! We're really excited to be back out on the road and we can't wait to see you all. Check out our tour dates to see when you can make it out to one of the shows next month!

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, the time has come! We have released the first song from our upcoming story “The Emptiness”.  The song is called “To Be Scared By An Owl” and we are so excited to finally be giving you the next piece, the next taste of our saga.  You can check it our right now on our Myspace page. The song featured is the tenth chapter of our story and draws its title from the turn of the century phrase “I live too near a wood to be scared by an owl” which was a way of describing someone to be fearless in a given situation.  The song can be purchased right now on iTunes so please go check it out.  We hope you love the song as much as we do and we cannot wait to share the rest of our adventure with all of you!

It's time to unveil the first two pieces of our new story, THE EMPTINESS! We are proud to announce the official track listing along with the album art of the new Alesana story.

The brand new full length album will be released January 26th, 2010!  We will be releasing new pieces to the story as we draw closer to the new album, so get ready for it!

The Virgin Mobile FreeFest in Columbia, MD is next month and they are looking for an opening band for the festival. We are now in the running, along with 4 other bands, to be chosen as the opening act. If we won we would be sharing the stage with some huge bands like Blink-182, Weezer, The Bravery and many others.

What's up guys, we're back with some Punk Goes Pop 2 news.  We know many of you have been waiting to listen to the album and our cover of Justin Timberlake's "What Goes Around..."  Well now you can!  Head on over to MTV's The Leak and check out our cover, as well as the ENTIRE album. 

Punk Goes Pop 2 comes out March 10 in the US and March 9th in the UK, but you can pre-order the album now at Merchnow and iTunes.  We're excited about being a part of this compilation so check out our song and let us know what you think!
